The Legal Council of the State with its opinion no. 153/2020 stated that: “After the auction of the property in Greece and the payment by the bidder over the notary the minimum value of € 250,000, it is possible for him to obtain the Golden Visa if the following conditions are cumulatively met:
a) the whole amount of the auction was paid to the notary via one of the specific ways that are restrictively defined in the Greek law,
(b) Proof of transfer of the contract by the competent Land Registry and
c) the auction has not been canceled in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.
